Top Magic Kingdom Rides and Attractions for Toddlers and Babies

Magic Kingdom for Toddlers and Babies: Disney World is a place for everyone. Young, old, and young at heart. In my humble opinion, there is no ‘right’ age to take your kid to Disney World. There are benefits to take them when they are babies (they are FREE), and there are benefits to taking them when they are older. But Disney World makes sure that there is something for everyone at every age. Lots of times, when you go to an amusement park, there might not be that much for the younger kiddos. But not at Disney! Here is a list of things that those young kids (and everyone in…

Top 10 Rides That You Won’t Mind Waiting in the Queue

Disney World Queues: At Disney World, lines tend to be LONG. So long, that when you see a 60-minute wait time for Flight of Passage, you automatically think that that’s a short amount of time. Disney World also has implemented a system called FastPass +. But sometimes, there aren’t any Fastpassaes available for that ride. Never fear! Disney has made (for many of their rides) standing in line just as fun as riding the attraction! Okay, maybe not as fun, but you get the point. Here is the list of the top 7 best ones in no particular order. Dumbo– Magic Kingdom Okay, I am starting with one that might…

Halloween at Disney World with Food Allergies – Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Halloween at Disney World with Food Allergies: For kids with food allergies, Halloween can be a scary time (and I don’t mean the decorations). You never know where your allergen can be lurking. But, trick-or-treating at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is, as it says in its name, really not so scary! Disney World participates in something called the Teal Pumpkin Project. If you are unfamiliar with that, it’s when families put a Teal Pumpkin (teal is the color of allergy awareness) out on their porch to let other families know that they either have allergy-friendly candy/snacks or nonfood treats such as stickers. Disney implements this so well that kids (or kids…

Tips for Going to Disney World on a Budget

Disney World on a Budget: Disney World is expensive! (I feel like I have started off a few of my blog post like this before- because it’s true!). And for those that know me, know that I am a cheapo. I like to cut corners and save money wherever I can. Even when it comes to Disney. My husband and I are also really big on budgeting (more so my husband, but that’s a different story), and we live in a one-income household in one of the most expensive places to live in the country. (looking at you CT). So if we want to go to Disney World or Disneyland,…

Top 7 Ways to Spend a Rest Day at Disney World!

Rest Day Disney World: Disney World is magical, exciting, happy, fun, wonderful, and so many other positive feelings rolled into one. For many, it’s what people call “Home.” But, Disney World can also be overwhelming, hectic, and a little crazy — especially when you have kids. Taking a break is always something I advise people to do when they are on their Disney vacation. Sometimes that is very hard to do. We might be thinking, “I spend all of my hard-earned money on this vacation. I am not going to spend it doing nothing.” And believe me, I get it! But I feel that if you don’t take a break in the…

Mistakes to Avoid When Dining at Disney World

Hi, my name is Nicole and I LOVE food. I mean it’s almost an addiction. The sight of food, the smells of food, and even the sounds of food make me so happy! I know, I have a problem. So when it comes to vacationing, food is always at the top of my mind. Where am I going to eat? When am I going to eat? Is it time to eat yet? And when it comes to Disney World, these questions are even MORE at the forefront of my mind. I make sure that my meals are planned out in the best possible way. So here are some mistakes to…

    Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is one of 3 deluxe resorts (the other 2 are Yacht Club and Beach Club) nestled around Crescent Lake between Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot. During each of the past 3 Augusts, Ben and I have stayed at one of these 3 gorgeous resorts, finishing our trio just a couple of weeks ago at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. This time, though, we were treated to something truly magical – a room upgrade to a 2-story loft cottage with Club Level access.
