Breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace: Fun Fact before we get started on our breakfast review. Do you know why Topolino’s Terrace is named what it’s named? (Hint- it has to do with our favorite mouse!) Back in 1932 (about 4 years AFTER Steamboat Willie came out), an Italian man named Mario Nerbini began making cartoons that looked JUST like the main Mouse himself. But he did not have the rights to Mickey Mouse’s name or likeness. This lead Mario Nerbini to call his character Topo Lino- which literally translates to “little mouse” in Italian- for legal reasons.
