Breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace: Fun Fact before we get started on our breakfast review. Do you know why Topolino’s Terrace is named what it’s named? (Hint- it has to do with our favorite mouse!) Back in 1932 (about 4 years AFTER Steamboat Willie came out), an Italian man named Mario Nerbini began making cartoons that looked JUST like the main Mouse himself. But he did not have the rights to Mickey Mouse’s name or likeness. This led Mario Nerbini to call his character Topo Lino- which literally translates to “little mouse” in Italian- for legal reasons. Kim Tries: Tonga Toast
Tonga Toast is my new love. Being married has been great, sure, but Tonga Toast is heaven on a plate, and I bet what Disney serves is even better than what I managed to make at home. You guessed it! (Or maybe you didn’t, but I’m going to pretend you did.) I tried the recipe from Disney Parks Blog to make my own at-home Tonga Toast. It went marvelously.
