Take a tour of the Deluxe Studio at Aulani!
Though not flanked by a Haunted Mansion, Aulani is still unmistakably “Disney.” Among other things, that means the Imagineers who worked on the resort put care into every design choice made. It also means guests can take tours to learn more about those decisions!
I told you I’d be coming at you with all the Aulani articles, so I hope you’re ready! We’re starting a Laniwai, where Ben and I splurged for our honeymoon and booked massages! There was so much more to the spa than just the services we paid for and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
Florida has so much to offer, Disney, beaches, camping, alligators…. I often hear people ask what beach is close to Orlando in an attempt to hit a beach and visit our favorite mouse in the same trip. I going to give you the scoop on one of our favorite beaches ( full disclosure it is also in my backyard).
Part 2: Vero Beach. Disney’s Vero Beach I know what you are thinking … “Vero Beach isn’t even Disney, right?”… Wrong! I like to think of it as Disney “light.” Vero has all the amenities, service, and little Disney touches you want without the hustle and bustle and characters in your face. I mean this in the best way (not to offend those who love the fast pace of chasing down characters).
Last Monday, I had the bittersweet pleasure of coming home from a magical honeymoon at Aulani, Disney’s resort in Ko Olina on Oahu, Hawaii. There’s so much I can’t wait to share with you about our amazing trip and the Disney touches at our wedding, but first, I want to give a quick overview of Aulani.
Have you ever wondered what happens when you agree to sit down and listen to a time share pitch? After years of turning down time share pitches we decided to give it a shot.
There I said it. There are more places to visit in Florida than just Disney and Orlando. Florida is just like Disney in a way, there are way too many things to see and do then can be managed in one trip. So, I am going to start a series of posts about places to visit beyond the theme parks. Think about fun, quirky, well known or off the beaten path spots that you may want to put on your list. I know that people who want to visit Disney also sometimes want to visit a beach. Perhaps you are trying to convince someone to come to Disney ( gasp)…
Did you know that your kids can do a super fun Easter Egg Hut while at the Disney Store?
(I know. It was in color last time, too). Ever since I first heard that Disney was working on a live action Dumbo, I have been anxiously awaiting its arrival, gobbling up every piece of concept art, every teaser trailer, and every tiny clip we were teased with before Dumbo once again graced the big screen. Finally, last Saturday, I got to see my favorite Disney character take flight again, and steal away my heart once more.
