Saratoga Springs- Don’t Leave Your Resort Part 3

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is one of the many hotel options to stay while on your Disney trip. This resort is a DVC resort meaning that all the units have at least a small kitchenette area. More on DVC here. You can also read about how we stayed at this resort on a budget.

This resort has a lot to offer. From location to amenities it is a great choice. The grounds are beautiful. This resort is very relaxing. I find this a welcome juxtaposition to the hustle and bustle of the parks.

First off the rooms are all villas. The rooms at this resort range from studio villas all the way to the treehouse villas that I am dying to say in. A villa affords you an opportunity to save money. You can utilize the kitchens in the 1 bedroom or larger villas or make some simple meals in the studios. My kids love a picnic by the pool. Since this is a DVC resort there are also multiple grill areas located around the resort. You can borrow grilling tools from the front desk and have yourself a magical cook out.

There are multiple pools at this resort. Fun splash pads for the kids and water slides for the bigger kids. Zero entry pools, hot tubs and quiet pools. There is a pool at this resort for every age. With so many pools to choose from none of them seemed over crowded.

A few of the pools have a food counter or bar. You can grab sandwiches or salads at these windows. However, you can also head to the Artist Palate and enjoy a quick service or to go meal. My husband had to head there to get an allergy friendly lunch, they had a variety of flat breads, sandwiches and salads to choose from.

Saratoga Springs is also home to the DVC preview center. Here you can take a tour of the newest DVC units and learn more about ownership. This resort s also home to Senses Spa. I did not have time to enjoy the services here…. but I plan to save my pennies and return!

The other lovely bonus of this resort is boat transportation to Disney Springs. If you stay in the Congress Park section of the resort you will be close enough to walk ( less than 10 minutes). We took a quick walk over to grab a free chocolate from Ghirardelli and buy a margarita from the stand. We did a little shopping and took in part of a musical number. Disney Springs is a destination unto itself and being in such close proximity is a nice perk.

You can also hop on a boat and head to Port Orleans French Quarter and grab some beignets or catch Yee Haw Bob perform in the lounge in the evening. Resort hoping is a fun activity even away from the monorail loop.

This resort was lovely and we always appreciate how well maintained the resort at Disney are, especially after we have visited other off property resorts.
