Fantasia Mini-Golf at Disney

Mini Golf at Disney World: Did you know you can play mini-golf or putt-putt golf at Walt Disney World? WDW in Orlando has two locations for you to play mini-golf. We are going to talk today about Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf.

As you may have guessed the theme of this location is the film Fantasia! Here you will find whimsical elements inspired from the classic film throughout the 2, 18 hole miniature golf courses. There are two courses to choose from here. The Fantasia Fairways Minature golf is designed to be as challenging as an actual course on a miniature scale. This course was NOT recommended to us because we had four children under the age of 8 with us! Yes, it was exactly like herding cats. So if you want fewer children and more challenge this is the course for you.

Now if you like herding cats or just want a simple mini golf course head toward the Fantasia Gardens mini-golf course. This side is geared more toward the littles and a lot of fun. My recommended age for Mini-golf based on my children and a few others is really 5 and up.

Here are the details. Now we visited pre-global pandemic so these details may change. You can call and make a reservation or a tee time if you will. I would recommend this. We waited about 20 minutes for a time without a reservation. However, the times can sell out! They offer both DVC and Annual Passholder discounts. The cost at the time of this article was $14 for adults and $12 for children.

This is a great Disney activity that does not require a huge investment or park tickets. This particular course is located close to the Swan and Dolphin and BoardWalk area for reference. This is also a great activity to do on arrival or departure day.

There are some great interactive elements throughout the course. There are sound effects, water elements, and moving elements. If I am honest though I think the other course Winter/Summerland is more exciting for kids. I think the mini-golf elements are a little more fun and way more colorful.

That being said this location is great. After we played golf we walked over to the Swan and Dolphin and caught a boat and headed to the Boardwalk for lunch.

I think this is a great family activity. I would go so far as to say this is a perfect social distancing activity. With set tee times and a general understanding that social distancing is expected this could be a good way to get some Disney Magic with a little less worry. We visited at the beginning of March and they were already doing a great job of cleaning balls and clubs with extra hand sanitizer easily accessible.

Have you ever played miniature golf at Disney? Would you give it a try?
